Newspaper Club

Mission

Students will have opportunities to use their creativity and individual skills in several areas, such as reporting, photography, reviews, editing, and design. Newspapers will be published each marking period and all members are welcome.

Club Activities:
This News Media Club aims to capture the everyday greatness of WIS through media. We publish material that informs, entertains, and inspires as a way to bond our school community. We are responsible for journalism that includes interviewing, writing, and other forms of media.

Meetings are held in room 503.

Members are responsible for paying attention to updated information on Google Classroom.

A live Google Doc of this schedule may be accessed here, so any changes will be reflected there.

Attendance Expectations

Ideally, you should attend as many meetings as you can, but you are allowed to miss meetings if you have a schedule conflict.
If you cannot attend meetings but would like to contribute writing or artwork to be included in our publications, we will be able to arrange something with you! Just reach out to me, and I’ll be happy to talk it over.
