Welcome Students to the New School Year!

I am Mrs. Hennessy and I will be your math teacher for this year. This is my 26th year of teaching 8th grade math and absolutely love it. My goal is to have your child love math as much as I do. I am located in Room 314 (the pi room). I am looking forward to having a great year with you.

Designated Calculator (Math 8: Texas Instruments 30 XIIS Calculator) (Algebra: TI-84+ available in class)
3-Ring Binder (1 or 1.5 inch suggested)
Lined Paper
5 Dividers
Pocket Folder (Plastic)

You will be graded as follows:

Major Tests - 40%
Minor Assignments - 40%
Independent Assignments - 20%

My extra help day will be Tuesdays AM in room 314. You are welcome to stay for additional help, reviews and make-up work. Please let me know in advance that you will be staying with me after school. Put forward your best effort, ask for help, and study and you will succeed!
