This is my 13th year teaching music! In addition to teaching in school, I also have a private violin studio in and am an active performer in orchestras and groups throughout Monmouth County and the State of New Jersey. I am the cofounder and 1st violinist of Four Shore Strings, a string quartet that performs for weddings, recordings, and other events in the Central Jersey area. 

My primary instrument is the violin, however, I am passionate about teaching all the string instruments in the orchestra! I grew up in northern New Jersey and graduated from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam located in upstate NY with a degree in Music Education and a performance certificate in violin.

4th & 5th grade Orchestra Schedule

All rehearsals are held at Wall Intermediate School
Parent drop off 8:00 am (or take WIS bus to school on lesson days)

A bus will bring students back to their home elementary school after the lesson.
Students will return before school begins. 

• Mondays (starting 9/15)- Central Students
• Tuesdays (starting 9/16)- Allenwood Students
• Wednesdays (starting 9/17)- Old Mill Students
• Thursdays (starting 9/18)- West Belmar Students
• *Fridays (starting 9/19)- ONLY level 2 orchestra students, All schools
• *Fridays (starting 10/3)- ALL students from ALL schools

Supplies Needed for Orchestra Program:

• Instrument (can be rented from theviolindoctorinc.com)

• Shoulder rest if playing violin or viola, Endpin anchor for cello

• Essential Elements for Strings EEi Book 1 for instrument

All homework and upcoming quizzes and tests will be announced in class and/or posted in the class Google Classroom. 

All Orchestra students: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR INSTRUMENT CASE IS LABELED WITH YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME BEFORE BRINGING INTO SCHOOL!

WIS Orchestra students can leave their instruments at school in the orchestra room (RM100) during the week. Cello and Bass students DO NOT need to bring in their instruments unless individually discussed but should have an instrument at home to practice on. 

All elementary orchestra students will need to bring their instrument to school on lesson days. Please see the Elementary Orchestra tab for the schedule.
