Welcome to 7th grade science!
Hello everyone! My name is Karyssa Niedt and I am so happy to be teaching science here at Wall Intermediate School! I received my first degree from Coastal Carolina University in marine science with a minor in biology. I then went on to get my masters in STEM Education from Rowan University. This will be my third year teaching but my second year here at WIS and I am so excited to have an amazing year full of science!

A pencil
A folder to bring any papers home (can be shared with another class)
I always have extra supplies, so if getting anything is ever an issue, please feel free to contact me!
Extra Help
Thursdays after school in room 300 (please let me know prior to attending so I can plan to help with anything specific you may need)
Google Classroom
I will be posting regularly on Google Classroom with assignments and any announcements, so please be sure to check there for any updates! This is also where I will be putting any study materials that will help you for major assessments.
Grading Breakdown
Major Assessments: (tests and larger projects) 40%
Minor Assessments: (quizzes and smaller/shorter projects) 40%
Independent Assignments: (classwork and homework) 20%
